Boulder School 2017: Frustrated and Disordered Systems
Our colleague Lenka Zdeborová co-organizes the Boulder Summer School 2017 on Frustrated and Disordered Systems, July 3-28, 2017. Giulio Biroli is one of the keynote invited lecturers. On of the main goals of this event is to bring to a broader physics audience the advanced mean-field methodology developed (in considerable part in IPhT) in the physics of disordered systems, such as the replica and cavity methods. Modern applications of these methods in soft-matter physics, jamming, but also computer science and biology will be also exposed.
